Job Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of relevant beverage service experience preferred
- Certification in Serve Safe Alcohol Awareness
- Indiana State approved Alcohol Training certification
- Possession of Indiana ATC License
- Possession of Indiana IHRC Occupational License
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to push or pull 150 to 250 lbs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume environment
- Compliance with county, state, and federal health and safety regulations
- Ability to work in a smoking environment
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum one year experience as a bartender or similar beverage service role preferred
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Proficient in math skills and multitasking
- Basic beverage knowledge including measurements, glassware, and product recognition
- Money handling experience
- Familiarity with digital touchscreen cashier systems preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Certified in Serve Safe Alcohol Awareness
- Licensed by Indiana ATC and IHRC
Job Duties
- Practice and promote company-wide culture and excellent service standards
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages safely and efficiently according to recipes
- Perform quality control, stock management, and ingredient preparation
- Provide responsible legal alcohol service including ID checks and measured pours
- Maintain sanitation, hygiene, and cleanliness standards
- Communicate consistently with supervisors about departmental activities
- Ensure bar equipment is in safe, working order and notify supervisors of any issues
