Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-year previous experience in a pool setting
- Knowledge of and ability to mix a wide variety of drinks
- Previous experience working in a similar resort setting
- Customer-oriented with a proactive attitude
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms
- Must be able to comprehend all information and documentation

Job Duties
- Greet guests courteously and consistently
- Prepare cocktails for cocktail servers and pool guests
- Assist in the delegation of duties to bar runners
- Prepare and serve beverages to customers at regular intervals
- Monitor proper par levels of all supplies at assigned bars
- Process all payments including cash, room charge, comps and credit cards
- Offer beverage suggestions in a manner that develops Downtown Grand name recognition
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Act as a guest service representative by providing information about the property
- Enhance the companys objective to provide an entertaining environment through maintenance of visual appearance, according to department standards
- Ensure the overall safety of pool guests
- Provide enthusiastic, outstanding guest service at all times
- Maintain a strong working relationship with co-workers
- Maintain complete knowledge of various hotel outlets, VIP guests, hours of operation, and safety and sanitation regulations
- Resolve guest complaints in a prompt and courteous manner
- Report any accidents or unusual incidents to management and security in a professional and timely manner
- Anticipate, identify and provide for guest needs
- Perform other duties as assigned
