Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years bartending experience in a high volume environment
- Money handling experience for at least 2 years
- Ability to stand or walk for at least eight hours per shift
- Must hold valid Nevada non-gaming sheriff's card
- Must hold Union Pour Card
- Must hold alcohol awareness card
- Must hold health department card
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Physical fitness to perform job duties
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Ability to work day, swing and graveyard shifts
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years prior bartending experience preferably at a high volume restaurant or nightclub
- At least 2 years previous money handling experience preferably at a high volume restaurant or nightclub
- 6 months of modeling experience in events or advertising preferred but not required
- Interpersonal skills to effectively deal with all business contacts
- Ability to present a neat and professional appearance with a warm, positive and friendly persona
- Social communication skills in promoting and marketing the venue
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
- Valid Nevada non-gaming sheriff's card, Union Pour Card, alcohol awareness card, and health department card
- Must be 21 years of age or over
- Physical fitness to perform duties including standing or walking an eight-hour shift
- Ability to operate necessary bar equipment and tools
- Willingness to work all shifts including day, swing and graveyard
- Ability to work within a team environment
Job Duties
- Prepares ordered drinks with proper portions and ingredients such as wine, mixed drinks, specialty cocktails, shots and related bar service to guests at assigned stations
- Expedites drink orders for each guest quickly and accurately
- Serves refills upon request and follows up for additional beverage requirements
- Possesses a keen sense of timing and can discreetly speed up or slow down his/her station as necessary
- Participates in in-house modeling programs, special casino events, banquet service functions, and performs model/presenter tasks at events
- Mixes drinks according to prescribed recipes
- keeps station stocked with liquor, glasses, and accessories
- Accounts for all beginning cash register bank, cash, complimentary drinks, and charge receipts
- Maintains low beverage costs through resourceful use of beverages, fruit, and supplies
- Markets the venue through social media as per the company's marketing plan
- Collects customer information for the venue database and increases personal clientele
- Executes knowledge of the venue’s sequence of service and selling technique
- Prepares products according to established venue recipes with proper portion control
- Provides customers with accurate information about the venue and entertainment
- Communicates and collaborates with support staff to ensure bar is stocked and inventory is maintained
- Works with urgency to anticipate customer needs and assists team members
- Communicates with management, VIP hosts and service staff to address customer needs, comments or incidents
- Adheres to policies, procedures and guidelines
