Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Prior bartending experience preferred
  • Certification to serve alcohol as required by state and local laws
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally
  • Good communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Prior bartending experience preferred
  • Certification to serve alcohol as required by state and local laws
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel)
  • Strong leadership, management, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to resolve problems efficiently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well with and motivate various personality types
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize

Job Duties

  • Welcome guests and verify their age prior to serving alcohol
  • Take guest food and drink orders, suggest menu items, and answer questions
  • Initiate and maintain appropriate conversations with guests
  • Serve guests responsibly, following company, local, state, and federal regulations
  • Ensure food/drink items meet guest satisfaction
  • Anticipate guests’ needs and maintain bar cleanliness
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following company recipes
  • Enter orders in the POS system and receive payment for guest checks
  • Set up bar for daily operation, including cutting fruit for garnishes and stocking supplies
  • Maintain cleanliness of bar equipment, shelves, coolers, etc.
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Serve alcoholic beverages and obtain/maintain a liquor card if required by state law
