Job Qualifications

  • Previous bartending experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Knowledge of drink mixing techniques and bar equipment
  • Basic math skills for cash handling

  • Ability to follow food and beverage safety regulations

Job Duties

  • Check identification of each guest to confirm legal drinking age
  • Serve alcohol and non-alcohol related beverages
  • Plan and present bar menu
  • Take and submit food orders
  • Assess guest needs and preferences and make recommendations
  • Maintain overall bar and utensil cleanliness
  • Stock, restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
  • Prepare drink garnishment
  • Arrange bottles and glasses for attractive displays
  • Handle cash and balance cash receipts
  • Manage guest safety by monitoring alcohol consumption and taking appropriate actions
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations
  • Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies
  • Help guests select food and beverages by presenting the menu and answering questions
  • Deliver orders and respond to additional guest requirements
  • Process payment transactions accurately
  • Stay informed about menu changes and specialties
  • Perform basic bar cleaning tasks
  • Collaborate with team to achieve results
  • Conclude dining experience by acknowledging guests and inviting them to return
