Job Requirements

  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
  • Minimum of three years bartending experience in a high-volume environment
  • Knowledge of all applicable local and national alcoholic beverage laws and regulations
  • Strong communication skills in the primary workplace language
  • Basic mathematical ability
  • Capability to handle a fast-paced and loud work environment
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail

Job Qualifications

  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
  • Three years or more experience as a bartender in a high-volume restaurant
  • Knowledgeable and understanding of all local and national alcoholic beverage laws, policies, and regulations
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary workplace language
  • Basic math skills and experience operating a point-of-sale system
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, loud environment and stand for extended periods
  • Attention to detail, organization skills, and a strong desire to serve guests and work as part of a team
  • Ability to safely lift and maneuver objects up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to work nights, holidays, and weekends

Job Duties

  • Welcome guests and thank them while remembering regulars and their preferences
  • Be knowledgeable on wine, beer, and liquor
  • Inform guests about promotional beverages and answer menu questions
  • Follow all local and national alcoholic beverage laws, policies, and regulations
  • Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area including glassware, coolers, and bar fixtures
  • Continuously watch for signs of intoxication to ensure guest safety and enjoyment
