Job Requirements
- Must be able to pass all server and bartender tests
- Ability to welcome each guest personally within 30 seconds
- Strong communication skills with clear and enthusiastic words, tone and body language
- Ability to work as a team and maintain an effective atmosphere
- Ability to keep all areas cleaned and stocked
- Capable of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks following standard recipes
- Experience with handling money and operating point of sale systems
- Ability to arrange attractive bottle and glass displays
- Physically able to stand and walk throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
- Good hearing and vision
- Must be 21 years or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior restaurant experience

- Basic knowledge of beer, wine and spirits
- Familiarity with standard drink recipes
- Must be 21 or older
- Prior experience as a bartender preferred
Job Duties
- Pass all server and bartender tests
- Welcome each guest personally within 30 seconds
- Communicate with guests using clear and enthusiastic words, tone and body language at all times
- Work as a team with all restaurant personnel to maintain an effective atmosphere and an efficient food and beverage service
- Work with others to keep all areas cleaned and stocked to GCRG's standards at all times
- Serve food items to customers seated at the bar or bar table areas
- Mix, garnish and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks for patrons of bar and dining room following standard recipes
- Ring drink orders into computer immediately, collect money from guests for drinks served and make change
- Stock bar with beer, wine, liquor and related supplies such as ice, glassware, napkins or straws
- Arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display
- Wash and sterilize stemware
- Be attentive and offer assistance before the guest has to ask for it
- Count drinks guests are served
- Place current bar tabs in front of guests at all times
- Monitor and ensure that no guest receives more than the allowed number of specific drinks
- Anticipate guests' needs and follow the half-full rule when offering another drink
- Take, fill and check on to-go orders
- Handle money
- Communicate with server to have drinks ran when ready
- Run drinks when able to
- Serve alcohol responsibly and arrange taxi for guests if needed
- Perform other duties as directed
