Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • one year of bartending experience and/or training preferred
  • minimum of 21 years of age
  • willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • compliance with state alcohol laws
  • ability to operate relevant equipment
  • ability to work independently and communicate effectively
  • alcohol awareness training as required by location

Job Qualifications

  • proficiency in operating beverage and food service equipment

Job Duties

  • interacting with customers
  • setting up and maintaining a clean and sanitized serving area
  • stocking bar
  • mixing and serving alcoholic beverages
  • cleaning and sanitizing equipment
  • receiving payment for food and beverages using a computerized register
  • ensuring compliance with applicable state alcohol laws and standard operating procedures
  • providing outstanding customer service
  • communicating effectively with patrons and co-workers
  • maintaining quality control standards
  • operating beverage machines and related equipment
  • monitoring inventory and communicating supply needs to management
  • performing opening and closing duties including inventory and cash control
  • serving catered parties from service or portable bars
  • following established systems for orders, greeting, cocktail service, food delivery and service techniques
  • practicing tray service for food and beverages
  • working independently as necessary
