Job Requirements
- Minimum age to serve alcohol
- one year experience in foodservice or hospitality industry preferred
- good knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine
- superior professional appearance and manner
- good character for fast-paced team environment
- flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- ability to obtain relevant state and local government certifications
Job Qualifications
- One year experience in foodservice or hospitality industry as a bartender preferred
- good knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine
- experience at a luxury hospitality property preferred
- must be of minimum age to serve alcohol
- superior professional appearance and manner
- good character to work in a fast-paced team
- ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- ability to obtain relevant state and local government certifications such as food handlers certificate or alcohol training certifications
Job Duties
- Assist guests in beverage and drink preparation
- service of the bar area and restaurant efficiently and timely
- relate with guests about their needs and satisfaction ensuring high-quality service
- be knowledgeable about drink offerings and assist guests with beverage choices
- comply with Bishop's Lodge and Forbes standards
- contribute to F&B sales by informing guests about drinks, specials, and prices
- accurately take and place orders using Micros system ensuring correct timing and billing
- prepare guest checks and collect payment or signature
- operate, maintain, and clean all bar equipment and fittings
- ensure the bar is well-stocked at all times
- use safe food handling procedures and maintain a safe working environment
