Job Requirements
- Minimum age to serve alcohol
- At least one year experience in foodservice or hospitality preferred
- Good knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine
- Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Ability to obtain relevant state and local certifications
- Superior professional appearance and manner
- Good character to work in a team
- Ability to use Micros point-of-sale system efficiently
Job Qualifications
- One year experience in the foodservice or hospitality industry as a bartender preferred
- Good knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine
- Experience at a luxury hospitality property preferred
- Must be of minimum age to serve alcohol
- Superior professional appearance and manner
- Good character to work in a fast-paced team
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Ability to obtain relevant state and local certifications such as food handlers certificate or alcohol training
Job Duties
- Assist guests in beverage and drink preparation and service
- Relate with guests about needs and satisfaction, ensuring high-quality service
- Be knowledgeable about drink menu offerings and standard drinks to guide guests
- Comply with Bishop's Lodge and Forbes standards within bar and restaurant outlets
- Contribute to improving F&B sales by recommending drinks and specials
- Take and place orders accurately and input them into Micros system
- Prepare guest checks accurately and collect payment
- Operate, maintain, and clean bar equipment
- Ensure the bar is well-stocked at all times
- Use safe food handling procedures and maintain a safe working environment
