Job Requirements
- Minimum 1-year bartending experience in a high-volume casual or sports bar environment
- developed knowledge of wine, spirits and beer including appropriate pours and mixology
- previous cash handling experience required
- ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate verbally and in writing in English
- ability to accurately and efficiently input information into MICROS
- ability to handle stressful situations while maintaining calm and welcoming demeanor
- ability to work cohesively with coworkers within and outside department
- ability to prioritize, organize and follow up on guest requests and needs in a fast-paced environment
- excellent customer service, service recovery and problem-solving skills
- must be TABC certified or have ability to obtain valid TABC permit prior to hire
- must be able to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- physically able to move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects up to 50 pounds without assistance
- able to stand or walk for extended periods or entire shifts
- able to perform repetitive motion of arms, hands and legs
- may work both indoors and outdoors

Job Duties
- Acknowledge and greet all guests
- anticipate guest needs and respond to inquiries or requests
- have full knowledge of food and beverage offerings
- monitor and maintain bar cleanliness, sanitation and organization
- provide silverware and condiments prior to food being presented
- clean and reset bar area as guests depart or drinks are completed
- properly set up and break down bar
- follow triple sink procedures
- communicate professionally with management, kitchen staff and serving staff
- contribute to a professional workplace that maximizes employee morale, productivity and effectiveness
- ensure responsible service of alcohol by adhering to legal requirements
- accurately take food and beverage orders and process transactions in Micros system
- maintain guest tabs and process payments promptly
- monitor pars
- sell and up-sell beverages
- maintain knowledge of wine, spirits and beer
- work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
