Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working as a bartender or in a customer service role
  • Knowledge of drink recipes and liquor types
  • Familiarity with point of sale systems such as MICROS
  • Ability to manage cash accurately
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Availability to complete liquor liability training within the first 30 days of employment and every two years thereafter

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a bartender or in a related role
  • Strong knowledge of drink recipes, liquor types and proper glassware
  • Excellent cash handling skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally

Job Duties

  • Efficiently maintain bar supplies including preparation of daily requisition
  • Be completely familiar with different kinds of liquor, recipes and prices of drinks, proper glassware, and garnishes
  • Know drink recipes, prices and types of beverages available
  • Be familiar with accurate cash handling procedures including discounting, MICROS system or registers, bank procedures and tip policies
  • Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly and maintain positive guest relations
  • Resolve guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Complete formal training regarding liquor liability within 30 days of employment and every 2 years thereafter
