Job Requirements

  • Experience in hospitality or related service field preferred
  • Knowledge of drink preparation preferred

  • Punctuality and adherence to clock-in and clock-out policies
  • Compliance with break schedule and notification requirements for absences

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise, or related field preferred
  • Knowledge of drink preparation and previous bartender experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and during their stay
  • Use guests' names whenever possible to enhance welcome
  • Work collaboratively to contribute to high guest satisfaction scores
  • Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
  • Maintain strong knowledge of hotel facilities and amenities
  • Support groups and events at the hotel
  • Understand and utilize relevant technology for the role
  • Answer incoming calls with friendly service using approved greetings
  • Keep all workspaces spotless and well-organized
  • Participate in cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed
  • Greet guests warmly while performing cleaning duties
  • Complete operational checklists with 100% accuracy every shift
  • Submit accurate and timely shift handover reports
  • Maintain flawless uniform and professional grooming at all times with a name tag and a smile
  • Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
  • Exhibit a can-do attitude by stretching beyond traditional roles to meet business needs
  • Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming environment and positive workplace
  • Provide customized beverage service in a friendly and timely manner
  • Describe food and beverage options clearly and correctly
  • Maintain bar organization and adequate set-up
  • Stock beer, wine, spirits, paper products, condiments, and produce
  • Prepare fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables
  • Mix and present drinks following standard recipes and portion control
  • Attend monthly departmental meetings
  • Use point-of-sale system to input orders and secure payments accurately
  • Manage cash transactions, verify charges, and balance moneys
  • Securely store beverages and equipment, perform cash drops, and lock up at shift end
  • Sanitize and clean the bar area thoroughly
  • Complete daily inventory prep and other side work as permitted
  • Promote and document food and beverage orders
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and handling policies
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness of restaurant and surrounding areas
  • Demonstrate knowledge of hotel hours and amenities
  • Work effectively with service and kitchen teams
