Job Requirements

  • Experience in hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred
  • Knowledge of drink preparation
  • Previous bartender experience preferred
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to follow instructions, assigned tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Provide friendly service with a smile to guests
  • Flexible schedule with availability including days, nights, holidays, and weekends
  • Arrive and clock in on time for every shift, clock out at scheduled time
  • Never work while clocked out
  • Clock in/out for breaks as scheduled
  • Provide sufficient notice when calling out for a scheduled shift

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
  • Use guests' names whenever possible to make them feel welcomed
  • Work together with all team members to achieve great guest satisfaction scores
  • Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and a sense of urgency
  • Maintain strong knowledge of all hotel features and amenities
  • Support and be aware of all groups and events at the hotel
  • Understand relevant technology for the role
  • Answer incoming calls with friendly service and approved greeting
  • Keep all workspaces sparkling clean and well-organized
  • Pitch in to clean guest rooms and public spaces when needed
  • Greet guests with a smile while cleaning
  • Complete operational checklists with 100% accuracy every shift
  • Prepare accurate and timely shift handover reports
  • Wear clean, approved uniform and be well-groomed
  • Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
  • Demonstrate a can-do attitude and willingness to go beyond traditional roles
  • Collaborate to create a welcoming guest environment and positive workplace
  • Greet guests and describe food and beverage options clearly
  • Maintain proper bar setup and adequate supplies
  • Stock beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, condiments, and produce
  • Mix and garnish drinks using standard recipes and control portions
  • Attend monthly departmental meetings
  • Input orders into POS and secure accurate payment
  • Handle cash management including receiving payments and balancing moneys
  • Store beverages and equipment securely and perform cash drops as needed
  • Sanitize and clean the bar area regularly
  • Complete daily inventory prep and other side work as allowed
  • Promote and document drink orders and maintain menu knowledge
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, handling policies, and cleanliness
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness of restaurant and surrounding areas
  • Demonstrate knowledge of hotel hours and amenities
  • Work effectively with service and kitchen teams
