Job Qualifications
- Six months prior bartender or bar apprentice experience
- At least one year previous money handling position
- Knowledge of beverages glassware and garnishes
- Effective communication in English both verbal and written
- Neat and professional appearance
- Ability to interact with customers the public and co-workers
- Teamwork with other staff members
- Ability to accurately count money and provide change
- Schedule flexibility including nights weekends holidays and overtime
Job Duties
- Clean bar area including bar tops sinks glasses refrigerators and other bar appliances
- Acknowledge greet and converse with customers who approach the bar
- Prepare and pour all types of drinks for customers and cocktail servers upon request
- Process all cash transactions by accepting money and making necessary changes accurately while presenting customers with bar receipts
- Convert cash to coin for any customers playing the slot machines in the bar area
- Call a designated slot employee when needed by a guest or bartender
