Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in bartending or similar role preferred
- possession of current TABC certification
- possession of current Food Handler certification
- punctual and reliable
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- good physical stamina to stand and perform tasks for extended periods
- strong customer service orientation
- attention to detail and organizational skills
- compliance with health and safety regulations
Job Qualifications

- prior bartending experience preferred
- current TABC certification
- current Food Handler certification
- strong customer service skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- excellent communication skills
- ability to multitask and maintain organization
- basic math skills for handling charges and inventory
Job Duties
- arrive on time and in proper uniform
- greet members and guests
- ensure the bar is member ready
- inspect the bar prior to opening to ensure adequate supplies are available
- request additional supplies as necessary
- collect member charges
- complete a daily spill sheet
- maintain current TABC and Food Handler certification
- keep bar clean and organized
- assist wait staff with cocktailing, serving, bussing and/or answering the phone
- report any complaints or issues to manager as soon as they occur
- set up all bottles of liquors and wines according to category on designated shelves
- cut fresh lemons and limes and place in condiment caddy, as well as extra limes as needed for the day
- set out salt rimmer filled with salt for Bloody Mary’s and Margaritas
- fill juice containers with the proper juices
- perform cigar inventory and record on daily inventory sheet (opening and closing) - turn form into Sandy’s box every night after closing
- prepare 3 compartment sink water cleaning solutions
- prepare cocktail orders as requested by members, guests, and servers
- report any broken or missing items to your manager
- perform monthly inventory
- wash any glassware returning to the bar and as used, polish and put away properly
- fill out requisition sheet for liquor, beer, and wine as needed
- put away liquor, beer and wine after requisition and at the end of the night
- wipe down and sanitize front/back bar, countertops, glass shelves, beer cooler, and dish pit
- sweep and mop floor and return mats to floor prior to the end of your shift
- clean and sanitize bar mats
- soak soda gun at the end of the night in hot water and soda water
- throw away all juices and fruits and wash containers (on Sundays)
- ensure that the area behind POS is clean, organized, and free of clutter
- complete a nightly requisition
- lock all cabinets and coolers
- lock up bar keys in the silver room
- provide superb customer service to members and guests
