Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous bartending or beverage service experience preferred
- ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
- ability to lift objects up to 45 lbs independently
- strong customer service skills
- ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- legal age to serve alcohol
Job Qualifications
- knowledge of mixing and serving standard beverages
- ability to recognize and handle intoxicated patrons
- experience handling cash and reconciling tabs
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to follow oral and written instructions
- physical ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights
Job Duties
- mix and serve beverages from a limited menu including liquor, soda, beer, and wine
- serve pre-mixed beverages such as daiquiris
- recognize intoxicated or unruly patrons and resolve issues or seek assistance
- collect tabs or chits accurately and reconcile with items dispensed
- operate the bar according to instructions from the manager
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- comply with policies on responsible beverage service
