Job Requirements

  • Meet minimum age requirement
  • Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods
  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 45 lbs independently and heavier with assistance
  • Comply with federal employment policies including background checks and drug-free workplace
  • Direct deposit of total net pay is mandatory
  • Provide required documents such as education/certification and military DD214 if applicable
  • Willingness to adhere to safety and EEO standards
  • Ability to work inside conditions with adequate light, heat, and fresh air
  • Ability to handle occasional physical exposure such as chapped hands, bruises, and cuts

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge and skill to mix and serve beverages limited to a few varieties and brands of liquor, soda, beer, and wine
  • Ability to prepare pre-mixed beverages according to patrons' requests
  • Ability to recognize intoxicated or unruly patrons and resolve or seek assistance
  • Ability to collect tabs or chits and reconcile with quantities and prices of items dispensed
  • Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods
  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 45 lbs independently and heavier with assistance
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and customer service principles
  • Basic communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • Operate a limited-service bar including portable bars for private parties and banquets
  • Mix and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks
  • Receive and record payment at time of sale
  • Maintain inventory of stock
  • Ensure bar and dining room are presentable and sanitary by wiping tables and sweeping floors
  • Run food from kitchen when needed
  • Provide world class customer service with an emphasis on courtesy
  • Assist customers and communicate positively
  • Take action to solve problems quickly
  • Alert supervisors or points of contact when problems arise
  • Adhere to safety regulations and standards
  • Report workplace hazards, injuries, illnesses, or property damage promptly
  • Support principles of EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment
  • Perform other related duties as required
  • Meet minimum age requirement
