Job Requirements
- Must have basic food handler certification
- able to work varied shifts including nights and weekends
- must be able to transport up to 30 pounds continuously
- constant standing and walking required
- frequent twisting, bending, reaching and talking
- ability to smile and maintain friendly demeanor
- must adhere to dress and grooming standards
- ability to work in fast-paced environment
- must handle cash accurately
- previous experience in hospitality preferred
Job Qualifications
- Hold a current Food Handler Card
- knowledge of state, federal and corporate liquor regulations
- basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation
- basic mathematical skills
- basic English language writing skills
- manual dexterity to use a knife and mix drinks
- ability to understand and communicate in English
- ability to operate beverage equipment
- knowledge of product labeling instructions
Job Duties
- Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner
- promote and document orders for drinks
- mix, garnish and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes
- maintain proper and adequate bar set-up daily
- requisition and stock beer, wine, spirits, paper products and condiments
- maintain stock, cutting and storing fresh fruit and garnishes
- receive and handle cash transactions and balance all moneys
- lock up and store beverages and food
- answer bar phone courteously and take room service orders
- input orders into point of sale system and create checks
- perform general cleaning tasks
- adhere to all company policies and procedures
- follow safety and security procedures
- know fire prevention and emergency protocols
- utilize protective equipment
- report unsafe conditions and accidents to supervisor
- maintain neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
- assist other beverage personnel as needed
