Job Requirements
- Must meet minimum age requirements and be authorized to work in the United States
- ability to bend, reach, stoop and safely lift up to 30 pounds
- capacity to stand for an 8 to 12 hour shift
- ability to work effectively in a team with attention to detail and multitasking skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience as a bartender or in a customer-facing hospitality role preferred
- strong knowledge of drink recipes and mixing techniques
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to maintain a clean and organized bar area
- proficiency in using POS systems
- ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Welcome customers and greet them with a smile when seated
- prepare the bar including pour stations and glassware before opening and perform limited restocking of drinks, mixes, and garnishes as needed
- suggest the sale of drinks, appetizers, and desserts
- prepare all beverages according to standard using recipe, glassware, and garnish
- accurately take food and drink orders and enter them correctly into the POS system
- ensure the customer is well attended, offer drink refills and remove any unused items
- deliver and settle the check promptly, thank customers and invite them to return
- follow all food safety regulations
