Job Requirements
- No formal education requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must obtain or possess a valid food handler's card prior to employment
- In Oregon, must obtain OLCC Liquor permit within 30 days of hire
- Ability to stand for entire shift
- Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively
- Ability to bend, kneel, and lift items up to 25 pounds
- Ability to carry objects up to 15 pounds regularly
Job Qualifications
- Reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills
- Able to operate blenders, frozen drink machines and other bar equipment
- Transports and carries objects up to 15 pounds regularly
- Ability to clean tables, seats, and floors
- Must obtain or possess a valid food handler's card prior to employment
- If employed in Oregon, must obtain OLCC Liquor permit within 30 days of hire
- Must be 21 years of age or older
Job Duties
- Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, and fruit juice to prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Interacts verbally with all bar guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
- Serves food and drinks to all bar guests
- Completes assigned opening and closing side work
- Slices fruit and vegetable garnishes for drinks
- Presents guest checks to bar patrons, makes change and/or completes any necessary charge card transactions
- Processes employee and/or manager food orders and relays food orders to kitchen via the point-of-sale computerized register system
- Completes extra cleaning tasks as assigned
