Job Requirements
- Must stand entire shift
- must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and other staff members
- must have good sense of balance, be able to bend and kneel and lift bus trays, tubs, and glass racks frequently weighing 25 pounds
- must be 21 years of age
- must obtain or possess and/or obtain a valid food handler's card prior to employment
- in Oregon must obtain OLCC Liquor permit within 30 days of hire
Job Qualifications
- Reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills required
- able to operate blenders, frozen drink machines and other bar equipment
- transports and carries objects up to 15 pounds on a regular basis
- ability to wipe down table tops, table legs, pick up debris off the floor and wipe down booth seats in all areas of the restaurant
- must obtain or possess and/or obtain a valid food handler's card prior to employment
- in Oregon must obtain OLCC Liquor permit within 30 days of hire
- must be 21 years of age
Job Duties
- Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, and fruit juice to prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- interacts verbally with all bar guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
- serves food and drinks to all bar guests
- completes assigned opening and closing side work
- slices fruit and vegetable garnishes for drinks
- presents guest checks to bar patrons
- makes change and/or completes any necessary charge card transactions
- processes employee and/or manager food orders
- relays food orders to kitchen via the point-of-sale computerized register system
- completes extra cleaning tasks as assigned
