Job Requirements

  • Minimum age of 18 to serve alcoholic beverages per CT legal guidelines
  • Prior bartending experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Awareness of state and local laws concerning the sale of alcoholic drinks
  • Unexpired bartender certification
  • Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions
  • Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a multitasking, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent physical fitness, visual acuity, and sense of urgency to attend to members' needs

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Know standard drink recipes and mix drinks quickly and accurately
  • Follow members' specific drink preferences and recipes
  • Check identification of members and guests to confirm legal drinking age
  • Take drink orders and serve drinks using the Club's POS system
  • Fill drink orders in the restaurant as requested by servers
  • Arrange bottles and barware, wash glasses, and clean the bar area
  • Remove empty bottles and trash, replace empty beer kegs, and restock bar supplies
  • Track inventory of wines, beers, liquors, and other supplies and report to Food and Beverage Manager
