Job Requirements
- 21 plus years old
- Friendly and engaging demeanor
- Prior bar service experience
- ServeSafe Alcohol Certification a plus
- Reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills required
- Bilingual experience a plus
- Reliable transportation required
- High school degree or GED preferred
- Ability to build relationships

- Ability to follow manager instructions and guidance
- Ability to communicate and behave professionally at all times

Job Duties
- Serves food and drinks to guests in a courteous and timely manner
- Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, and fruit juice to prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Applebee's recipes
- Interacts verbally with all bar guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
- Greets guests, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food, drinks, and bar offerings
- Completes assigned opening and closing side work as scheduled
- Slices fruit and vegetable garnishes for drinks and presentations
- Presents guest checks to bar patrons making correct change and/or completes credit card transactions
- Processes employee and manager food orders
- Relays food orders to kitchen via the point-of-sale computerized register system timely and accurately
- Manages service of alcohol in compliance with all state and federal laws, company policies, and brand standards
- Participates in clearing and resetting the bar area
- Occasionally serves guests in the Carside To-Go area
- Maintains a clean and organized working environment
- Explains and demonstrates usage of Tabletop Electronic Devices to guests
- Drives sales with suggestive selling techniques, creating a legendary customer experience
- Participates in Local Store Marketing to drive bar traffic and overall restaurant business
- Removes trash and garbage from the bar service area to the dumpster
