Job Requirements

Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
Must hold all certifications and licenses required by local health and alcohol regulatory authorities
Must be physically capable of carrying out job functions including carrying food and beverages, and dancing
Must be able to handle cash responsibly
Ability to coordinate and manage multiple guest needs at the bar and service well
Must be a team player and adaptable to a dynamic work environment

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar hospitality role preferred
Knowledge of drink mixing techniques and beverage service standards
Familiarity with local Health Department and Alcoholic Beverage Commission regulations
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
Capacity to physically perform duties including lifting up to 50 pounds
Positive attitude and willingness to engage with guests

Job Duties

Maintain a clean, organized and operational bar at all times
Acknowledge guests immediately upon arrival
Provide an enjoyable and engaging bar experience for every guest
Ensure hot food remains hot and cold food remains cold
Be visible and available behind the bar to assist guests and service staff
Adhere to established timing standards for product preparation and service
Employ suggestive sales techniques to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly in accordance with regulations
Educate team members on drink recipes and service standards
Document and minimize waste in beverage preparation
Assist in maintaining overall cleanliness and safety in the restaurant
Follow all recipes and specifications to ensure consistency in food and beverages
Complete daily cleaning tasks as per the cleaning calendar
