Job Requirements

Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
Must have required certifications and licenses according to local health and alcohol statutes
Physical ability to perform job duties including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods
Ability to handle cash transactions responsibly
Capability to manage multiple guest needs simultaneously
Physical ability to carry food and beverages
Ability to work collaboratively in a team
Must be physically able to dance and maintain energy during shifts

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience as a bartender preferred
Knowledge of liquor, beer, wine, and food menus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Customer service orientation
Ability to handle cash transactions responsibly
Certification or license as required by local health and alcohol regulations

Job Duties

Maintain a clean and organized bar area at all times
Acknowledge guests immediately upon approach
Provide an enjoyable bar experience for every guest
Ensure hot food remains hot and cold food remains cold
Remain visible behind the bar to assist guests and service staff
Adhere to product and service timing standards
Seek ways to consolidate service and increase table turns
Perform showmanship with focus on speed and accuracy
Demonstrate knowledge of all food, liquor, beer, wine, and retail items offered
Apply positive suggestive sales techniques to guide guests
Provide responsible service of alcoholic beverages
Educate team members on drink recipes
Document and minimize waste
Assist in maintaining restaurant cleanliness and safety
Follow all recipes and specifications to ensure quality food and beverages
Complete daily cleaning calendar tasks
