Job Requirements
- Must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year bartending experience in a busy restaurant or bar environment
- Valid alcohol certification as required by state laws
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand and work on feet for long periods
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols consistently
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a bartender in a high-volume setting
- Valid alcohol certification
- Following recipes including measuring and mixing ingredients
- Preparing ingredients for service including cutting and peeling
- Labeling and stocking bar ingredients and garnishes
- Operating equipment and bladed tools safely
- Ability to effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing
- Elevated knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer
- Experience serving food with ability to describe and recommend menu items
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
- Basic bookkeeping knowledge
- Working knowledge of point-of-sale systems
- High level of stamina to work on feet for extended periods
- Maintaining food safety and sanitation standards
- Executing opening and closing procedures
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
Job Duties
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar patrons and restaurant guests
- Interact with customers and take food and drink orders
- Serve guests with a warm and friendly smile
- Perform guest retention activities
- Clean and sanitize work areas and bar equipment
- Complete side work and assist team members
- Handle cash and credit payments responsibly
- Report thoroughly to management
