Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior bartending or hospitality experience preferred
- ability to mix a wide variety of drinks
- strong customer service and communication skills
- ability to work flexibly with varying shifts including weekends and holidays
- basic math skills for cash handling
- ability to obtain necessary certifications
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Open and close the hotel bar following company policies and procedures
- maintain the food prep and bar area in a clean, organized manner
- mix a wide variety of drinks
- operate bar-related equipment including cash register, dishwashers, speed batch ovens, and microwave
- provide excellent customer service and assist guests
- manage supplies necessary for cocktail preparation
- respond to guest inquiries about hotel, local area, and events
