Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior bartending experience
  • Valid permit to serve alcohol as required by the state
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment effectively and efficiently
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations and beverage service
  • Good physical condition to perform duties including standing for long periods and lifting up to 35 pounds
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Ruth's Chris Steak House specifications
  • Observe guests to ensure satisfaction with food, beverages, and service
  • Comply with all state and local liquor laws and restaurant policies
  • Set up and maintain the bar, including cleaning, stocking, checking inventory, and preparing recipes
  • Use point-of-sale system to ring food and beverage orders and handle cash and credit transactions
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
  • Foster a team-oriented environment and communicate effectively with staff and guests
