Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of bartending experience in an upscale, high-volume, full-service hospitality environment
  • must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Delaware Alcohol Server Training Card
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
  • understanding of food and beverage safety regulations
  • strong teamwork and leadership abilities
  • motivated, energetic, and hard-working self-starter

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent emotional self awareness under pressure while maintaining a respectful, warm presence
  • positive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • 2+ years' experience working as a bartender
  • ability to work nights, weekend, and holidays
  • ability to multitask and take direction in high volume situations
  • must possess Delaware Alcohol Server Training Card
  • knowledge of a second language is a plus

Job Duties

  • Strong communication and listening skills to interact with both guests and teammates
  • professional knowledge base of classic and creative cocktails, beer, and wine
  • interpret guest's desires and provide recommendations
  • ensuring accurate accountability of food and beverage sales to each guest
  • ensuring that bar area is properly inventoried and stock for the following shift
  • base knowledge and understanding of the culinary menu
  • keeps an efficient work pace that allows guests at the bar and in the dining room to be satisfied at all times
  • have a general knowledge and understanding of Delaware Department of Health for food safety standards
  • enjoys providing great hospitality
