Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of bartending experience in an upscale, high-volume, full-service hospitality environment
- must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Delaware Alcohol Server Training Card
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- understanding of food and beverage safety regulations
- strong teamwork and leadership abilities
- motivated, energetic, and hard-working self-starter
Job Qualifications
- Excellent emotional self awareness under pressure while maintaining a respectful, warm presence
- positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- 2+ years' experience working as a bartender
- ability to work nights, weekend, and holidays
- ability to multitask and take direction in high volume situations
- must possess Delaware Alcohol Server Training Card
- knowledge of a second language is a plus
Job Duties
- Strong communication and listening skills to interact with both guests and teammates
- professional knowledge base of classic and creative cocktails, beer, and wine
- interpret guest's desires and provide recommendations
- ensuring accurate accountability of food and beverage sales to each guest
- ensuring that bar area is properly inventoried and stock for the following shift
- base knowledge and understanding of the culinary menu
- keeps an efficient work pace that allows guests at the bar and in the dining room to be satisfied at all times
- have a general knowledge and understanding of Delaware Department of Health for food safety standards
- enjoys providing great hospitality
