Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum one year experience in full service restaurant
  • Ability to obtain required government licenses and certifications
  • Compliance with grooming standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school education preferred
  • Minimum one year full service restaurant experience required
  • Ability to obtain government required licenses such as local health department certification and state liquor control board certificate
  • CPR certification and/or first aid training preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of food and beverage menu items
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Friendly and courteous demeanor

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Maintain an outgoing, friendly and courteous demeanor
  • Pay close attention to detail and stay organized
  • Monitor liquor, beer, and wine usage to maintain inventory levels
  • Communicate effectively in various situations
  • Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies
  • Prepare alcoholic and specialty beverages with correct ingredients and portions
  • Assist guests in selecting food and beverages by presenting menus and suggesting courses
  • Address guests' special dietary needs and requests
  • Serve orders by picking up and delivering guests' choices
  • Maintain table settings including removing completed courses and replenishing utensils
  • Conclude dining experiences by thanking guests and inviting them to return
  • Deliver bills and process payments accurately
  • Interact positively with staff and guests to achieve 100 percent guest satisfaction
  • Assist with essential FOH duties such as answering phones, taking to-go orders, handling payments, managing reservations, greeting and seating guests, assisting with food delivery, and bussing tables
