Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous bartending or relevant service experience
Valid Tips and Sips Certification
Food Handlers Permit
Sandy City Alcohol Work Card ID
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for long periods
Must have a valid driver’s license
Good communication and customer service skills

Job Duties

Inspect the bar before service to ensure that adequate supplies are available
Request and prepare additional supplies as necessary
Follow set-up and bar opening procedures
Greet guests
Mix, prepare and serve drinks according to the recipes approved by the Beverage Manager
Collect checks/payment for drinks served
Report complaints to a manager as soon as they occur
Maintain and clean equipment
Maintain records of liquor, beer, wine, tobacco, and sundries to ensure per stock is maintained at all times
Maintain daily inventory and records showing which drinks and liquors are in the most significant demand
Clean and lock up according to prescribed procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
