Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous bartending or relevant service experience
  • Valid Tips and Sips Certification
  • Food Handlers Permit
  • Sandy City Alcohol Work Card ID
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for long periods
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Good communication and customer service skills

Job Duties

  • Inspect the bar before service to ensure that adequate supplies are available
  • Request and prepare additional supplies as necessary
  • Follow set-up and bar opening procedures
  • Greet guests
  • Mix, prepare and serve drinks according to the recipes approved by the Beverage Manager
  • Collect checks/payment for drinks served
  • Report complaints to a manager as soon as they occur
  • Maintain and clean equipment
  • Maintain records of liquor, beer, wine, tobacco, and sundries to ensure per stock is maintained at all times
  • Maintain daily inventory and records showing which drinks and liquors are in the most significant demand
  • Clean and lock up according to prescribed procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
