Job Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
ability to work days, nights and/or weekends as required
ability to work in hot and cold temperature environments
ability to work in noisy, fast-paced environment with distractions
ability to read and write handwritten notes
ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
ability to stand and move about facility for long periods
ability to walk or stand 100% of shift
ability to reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep and wipe frequently
compliance with company dress code
legal eligibility to work

able to maintain positive interpersonal relations

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
strong communication skills
ability to operate Micros point of sale system
experience in a fast-paced restaurant or bar environment preferred
ability to follow recipes and procedures accurately
customer service experience
ability to work effectively in a team
ability to maintain a friendly and positive attitude
capable of multitasking in noisy, distracting settings
English proficiency

Job Duties

Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games
keep immediate supervisor informed of problems or unusual matters
create a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members
adhere to company sanitation procedures
maintain personal bank and accuracy in financial transactions
follow alcohol awareness procedures
assess guest demeanor and report concerns
follow all bar recipes
keep station clean and set up/take down tables
greet guests timely and friendly
take guests food and drink orders accurately
maintain thorough understanding of menu items
enter orders into Micros system
complete sales and station side work
operate Micros and handle credit transactions
ensure proper food garnishment and delivery
work efficiently with full hands in and out philosophy
participate in incentives and contests
complete bar inventories and requisitions
complete opening/closing duties timely
assist in party set up/breakdown
assist team members as needed
buss and reset tables
ensure guest satisfaction by checking back and maintaining drink levels
maintain favorable working relationships
listen to guests and communicate verbally and via Micros
be friendly and smile frequently
promote enthusiasm about the Dave & Buster's experience
