Job Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
one year of bartending experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
must be at least 21 years of age to meet state requirements to serve alcohol

Job Qualifications

one year of bartending experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties
alcohol awareness training
must be at least 21 years of age

Job Duties

Stocks bar
mixes and serves alcoholic beverages
assists in cost control
maintains inventory records
monitors and controls inventory
communicates supply needs with management
ensures compliance with state liquor laws
follows standard operating procedures
communicates guest requests and concerns to Department Manager
performs opening and closing duties including inventory, cash control, cleaning, restocking
handles checks and cash transactions
utilizes Point of Sales system
reviews banquet and event schedules
serves catered parties from service or portable bars
occasionally serves meals
incorporates safe work practices
performs other duties as required
