Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior bartending or hospitality experience preferred
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- strong knowledge of drink recipes liquor types and proper glassware usage
- proficiency in cash handling and point-of-sale systems
- excellent customer service and communication skills
- willingness to complete liquor liability training within 30 days of employment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience with MICROS or similar point-of-sale systems
- strong knowledge of liquor types cocktail recipes and drink preparation
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to handle cash accurately
- previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred
- certification in responsible alcohol service is an advantage
Job Duties
- Efficiently maintain bar supplies including preparation of daily requisition as necessary
- be completely familiar with all types of liquor recipes prices and proper glassware and garnishes
- know drink recipes prices and types of beverages available
- be familiar with accurate cash handling procedures including discounting MICROS system or registers bank procedures and tip policies
- respond promptly to guests anticipate guest needs and maintain positive guest relations
- resolve guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction
- complete formal training regarding liquor liability within 30 days of employment and every two years thereafter
