serveSafe alcohol certification a plus

Job Duties

Serve food and drinks to guests in a courteous and timely manner
mix ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, and fruit juice to prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes
interact verbally with all bar guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
greet guests, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food, drinks, and specials
complete assigned opening and closing side work
slice fruit and vegetable garnishes for drinks
present guest checks to bar patrons and process payments accurately
relay food orders to kitchen via the point-of-sale system in a timely and accurate manner
manage service of alcohol adhering to all state and federal laws and company policies
participate in clearing and resetting the bar
occasionally serve guests in Carside To-Go service
maintain a clean and organized work area
explain and demonstrate usage of tabletop electronic devices to guests
drive sales with suggestive selling techniques
participate in local store marketing to increase bar traffic and overall restaurant sales
remove trash and garbage from bar service area to dumpster
