Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one year of prior bartending experience preferred
- prior guest relations training
- proper food safety training and certification as described by law
- experience working with POS systems and reservation software
- strong knowledge of bartending techniques and beverage preparation
- excellent communication and customer service skills
- ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the bar area
- punctual and reliable with a positive attitude
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- physical ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- must be of legal drinking age to serve alcohol
Job Qualifications
- One year of prior bartending experience preferred
- prior guest relations training

- experience working with POS (Toast, Micros, Aloha, etc.) and reservation software (Toast)
- strong knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- knowledge of proper food handling
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- positive upbeat attitude and personality
- punctuality and reliable attendance
- ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, and cooperativeness
- ability to work with minimum supervision
- ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- willingness to work flexible hours such as mornings, nights, weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Prepare alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
- mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- plan and present bar menu
- check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- comply with all food and beverage, health and safety regulations
- demonstrate superior knowledge of classic cocktails and build, shake, and create them efficiently
- exemplify outstanding communication skills and promote excellent customer service
- check in with clientele to ensure satisfaction
- maintain a clean and tidy work area including guest areas and glassware
- complete opening and closing duties and follow established standards and checklists
- adhere to cash handling policies including credit card charges and accurate billing
- manage pour-cost control and participate in inventory and par level determinations
- perform other duties as assigned
