Job Requirements

  • 2-3 years bartending experience required for external hires
  • Ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members
  • Ability to memorize and describe ingredients and preparation of food and beverages
  • Capability to prepare signature drinks perfectly by memory
  • Ability to handle dishware and glassware safely
  • Ability to accurately process orders and payments using Aloha
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds constantly
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Willingness to work in hot or cold environments
  • Frequent hand washing and sanitation required
  • Ability to use knives and food prep equipment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Consistent attendance and accurate availability

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Exemplify Bar Louie's mission, vision and values in shift approach
  • Demonstrate a maniacal commitment to cleanliness, sanitation and guest and alcohol safety
  • Learn the menu top to bottom and inside and out to answer questions, describe and recommend items
  • Master unique recipes, free pouring, flair, responsible alcohol service
  • Ensure guests are inspired by food and drink recommendations
  • Accurately ring, prepare and serve items as requested
  • Assist with inventory management by carefully accounting for every bottle drop
  • Complete side work including bussing and sanitizing the bar top and washing glassware
  • Complete opening and closing duties efficiently
  • Follow policies and processes communicated by manager or company
  • Provide accurate availability and maintain consistent attendance
