Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 1 year bartending experience in a fast-paced environment
  • valid alcohol certification
  • flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to lift up to 25 lbs
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
  • reliable and positive attitude
  • teamwork orientation

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a bartender in a high-volume setting
  • valid alcohol certification
  • ability to follow recipes including measuring and mixing ingredients
  • capability to prepare ingredients including cutting and peeling
  • skill in labeling and stocking bar ingredients and garnishes
  • ability to operate equipment and bladed tools safely
  • effective verbal and written communication skills in English
  • elevated knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer
  • experience serving food and making menu recommendations
  • highly developed interpersonal skills
  • basic bookkeeping knowledge
  • working knowledge of point-of-sale systems
  • ability to maintain food safety and sanitation standards
  • high level of stamina to work on feet for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Preparing alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages for bar patrons and restaurant guests
  • interacting with customers
  • taking food and drink orders
  • serving guests with a warm, friendly smile
  • guest retention
  • cleaning and sanitizing the bar area
  • performing side work
  • teamwork with all staff
  • reporting thoroughly to management
  • handling cash and credit payments
  • executing opening and closing procedures
