Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Promptly and professionally serve guests beverages and food orders ensuring quality and accuracy
- attend mandatory meetings as scheduled by the Restaurant Manager
- verify age requirements for the purchase of alcohol
- dispense alcohol by State regulations
- attempt to eliminate problems and liability related to guests excessive drinking by limiting alcohol served or stopping service
- provide means of ordering taxis or transportation for intoxicated guests
- keep bar, tables, and eating areas clean and set to hotel and restaurant standards
- maintain a clean, organized, and stocked work area
- greet and acknowledge guests immediately with a standard greeting
- maintain knowledge of food and beverage offerings
- rotate all stock and put it away at end of shift
- communicate with kitchen when items are low and need ordering
- submit correct ticket orders to kitchen through the Point of Sale system
- perform daily opening and closing checklists
- communicate with management regarding customer satisfaction, feedback, and beverage counts
- ensure all products are stored and secured properly
- keep menus and table tents clean, organized, updated, and presentable
- ensure all billing is calculated correctly when presenting guest checks
- perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
