Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • ability to work weekends and varying schedules

Job Duties

  • Promptly and professionally serve guests beverages and food orders ensuring quality and accuracy
  • attend mandatory meetings as scheduled by the Restaurant Manager
  • verify age requirements for the purchase of alcohol
  • dispense alcohol by State regulations
  • attempt to eliminate problems and liability related to guests excessive drinking by limiting alcohol served or stopping service
  • provide means of ordering taxis or transportation for intoxicated guests
  • keep bar, tables, and eating areas clean and set to hotel and restaurant standards
  • maintain a clean, organized, and stocked work area
  • greet and acknowledge guests immediately with a standard greeting
  • maintain knowledge of food and beverage offerings
  • rotate all stock and put it away at end of shift
  • communicate with kitchen when items are low and need ordering
  • submit correct ticket orders to kitchen through the Point of Sale system
  • perform daily opening and closing checklists
  • communicate with management regarding customer satisfaction, feedback, and beverage counts
  • ensure all products are stored and secured properly
  • keep menus and table tents clean, organized, updated, and presentable
  • ensure all billing is calculated correctly when presenting guest checks
  • perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
