Job Requirements
- Be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
- must be friendly, hardworking, team-oriented, and honest
- have strong beverage service experience
- must be able to push, pull, reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 25 lbs
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a bartender in a high-volume setting
- valid alcohol certification
- ability to effectively communicate in English verbal and written
- elevated knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer
- experience serving food with ability to describe and make menu recommendations
- highly developed interpersonal skills
- basic bookkeeping knowledge
- working knowledge of point-of-sale systems
- high level of stamina to work on feet for extended periods
- maintaining food safety and sanitation standards
- executing opening and closing procedures
Job Duties
- Preparing alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages for bar patrons and restaurant guests
- interacting with customers
- taking food and drink orders
- serving guests with a warm, friendly smile
- guest retention
- cleaning and sanitizing the bar area
- performing side work
- teamwork of all varieties
- reporting thoroughly to management
