Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a bartender in a high-volume setting
  • Valid alcohol certification
  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and holidays
  • Ability to push, pull, reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 25 lbs
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Ability to follow recipes and prepare ingredients
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Basic bookkeeping and point-of-sale system experience

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a bartender in a high-volume setting
  • Valid alcohol certification
  • Ability to follow recipes including measuring and mixing ingredients
  • Skilled in preparing ingredients such as cutting, peeling, and stuffing
  • Proficient in labeling and stocking bar ingredients and garnishes
  • Knowledge of operating equipment and bladed tools safely
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Elevated knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer
  • Experience serving food and making menu recommendations
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills
  • Basic bookkeeping knowledge
  • Working knowledge of point-of-sale systems
  • High level of stamina for extended periods on feet
  • Maintaining food safety and sanitation standards
  • Executing opening and closing procedures

Job Duties

  • Preparing alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages for bar patrons and restaurant guests
  • Interacting with customers and taking food and drink orders
  • Serving guests with a warm and friendly smile
  • Ensuring guest retention and satisfaction
  • Cleaning, sanitizing, and performing side work duties
  • Collaborating with team members and reporting to management
  • Handling cash and credit payments responsibly
