Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a bartender in a high-volume setting
- flexibility to work weekends, evenings and holidays
- valid alcohol certification
- following recipes including measuring and mixing ingredients
- preparing ingredients for service including cutting, peeling, stuffing
- labeling and stocking all bar ingredients and garnishes so they are organized and easily accessible
- operating equipment and bladed tools following safety standards
- ability to effectively communicate in English verbal and written
- elevated knowledge of wine, spirits and beer
- experience serving food
- ability to describe and make menu recommendations
- highly developed interpersonal skills
- basic bookkeeping knowledge
- working knowledge of point-of-sale systems
- high level of stamina to work on feet for extended periods
- maintaining food safety and sanitation standards
- executing opening and closing procedures
- must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
