Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year bartending experience
  • valid alcohol certification
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • ability to lift up to 25 lbs
  • effective communication skills in English
  • stamina to be on feet for extended periods
  • following safety and sanitation standards
  • basic bookkeeping and point-of-sale system knowledge

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a bartender in a high-volume setting
  • valid alcohol certification
  • elevated knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer
  • experience serving food and making menu recommendations
  • highly developed interpersonal skills
  • basic bookkeeping knowledge
  • working knowledge of point-of-sale systems
  • ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
  • high stamina to work on feet for extended periods
  • ability to maintain food safety and sanitation standards
  • flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar patrons and restaurant guests
  • interacting with customers and taking food and drink orders
  • serving guests with a warm and friendly smile
  • maintaining guest retention through excellent service
  • cleaning and sanitizing the bar area and equipment
  • performing side work and teamwork tasks
  • reporting thoroughly to management
  • handling cash and credit payments responsibly
  • following recipes and mixing ingredients accurately
  • preparing bar ingredients including cutting and peeling
  • labeling and stocking bar ingredients and garnishes
  • operating bar equipment and bladed tools safely
  • maintaining food safety and sanitation standards
  • executing opening and closing procedures
  • lifting up to 25 lbs as needed
