Job Requirements
- Complete a favorable background investigation
- Complete a pre-employment physical examination
- Meet minimum age requirement for serving alcoholic beverages
- Obtain a Food Handler's Certificate or complete food handler's training
- U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen status
- Register for Selective Service if applicable
- Ability to provide required identification for installation access
- Successfully complete employment verification check
- Comply with probationary period if required
Job Qualifications
- Experience mixing alcoholic beverages for retail sale
- Knowledge of a wide variety of beverages and ability to combine ingredients
- Ability to mix exotic drinks
- Skill in recognizing intoxicated or unruly patrons and resolving problems
- Ability to follow cash handling procedures
- Physically able to handle lifting objects between 5 and over 40 pounds
- Good communication skills and ability to engage with the public
Job Duties
- Operate a full-service bar
- Mix and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks according to established recipes
- Deliver beverages to patrons or bar waiters
- Handle cash register operations and payments
- Wash glasses and bar equipment
- Prepare garnishes for drinks
- Maintain bar inventory and ensure accountability
