Job Requirements
- Must be 21+ years of age in order to serve alcoholic beverages
- previous experience as a bartender in a restaurant or bar setting
- knowledge of drink recipes, mixing techniques, and drink presentation
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to handle cash transactions and use POS systems
- familiarity with local alcohol regulations
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-volume periods
- attention to detail and excellent multitasking abilities
- flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- take drink orders, provide recommendations, and engage in conversation to enhance the overall customer experience
- verify the age of customers to ensure they meet legal requirements for alcohol service
- adhere to local and state laws regarding the sale and service of alcoholic beverages
- monitor customer behavior and intervene when necessary to prevent overconsumption
- refuse service to customers showing signs of intoxication and handle such situations diplomatically
- have a comprehensive understanding of the drink menu, including specials and promotions
- educate customers on different types of beverages and make suggestions based on their preferences
- prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, and wines, according to established recipes and customer preferences
- ensure the accurate measurement of ingredients and maintain consistency in drink quality
- stay updated on current trends in mixology and experiment with new recipes
- collaborate with colleagues to create and develop unique drink offerings
- maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware, utensils, and equipment
- ensure that the bar is well-stocked with necessary supplies and ingredients
- communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate food and drink orders
- ensure timely service by working closely with the serving staff
