Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
TIPS certification or equivalent
Must meet all state and local age requirements for serving alcohol
Previous bartending experience in a hotel bar or restaurant environment preferred
Experience with cash handling POS systems and bar setup teardown
Ability to multitask and stay composed in fast-paced high-volume settings
Commitment to cleanliness safety and responsible alcohol service

Strong mixology skills with knowledge of a wide range of beverages
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced high-volume setting
Positive guest-focused attitude and a proactive approach to hospitality
Team player with the ability to lead when required
Attention to detail in presentation and inventory management
Familiarity with food pairing and cross-selling techniques considered a plus

Job Duties

Mix ingredients such as liquor soda water sugar and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks
Serve wine draught bottled beer non-alcoholic beverages and food
Collect money for drinks served
Order and requisition liquors and supplies
Stock and replenish glasses beverages mixes fruit and guest supplies
Place bottled goods and glasses to make an attractive display
Wash glasses bar and equipment
Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks prepare appetizers such as pickles cheese and cold meats
Greet guests in a friendly and warm manner
Take responsibility for assigned associates in the absence of the Supervisor if functioning in a lead capacity
Assign work and ensure proper performance of assigned associates if in a lead role
Perform other duties as assigned
