Job Requirements
- Previous bartending experience required
- Must be 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages
- Ability to lift trays, dish racks and glass racks weighing 20-40 lbs
- Ability to push carts and portable bar equipment weighing 50-100 lbs
- Ability to bend and kneel
- Ability to maneuver in narrow areas and between seated guests
- Ability to stand continuously throughout the entire shift
- Ability to climb approximately 12 steps for 20% of an 8-hour shift
- Ability to read records and special requests
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Ability to pay attention to sound and sight details in crowded and noisy situations
- Ability to use tact and understanding in customer service situations
- Ability to accurately count cash
- Ability to operate cash register
Job Qualifications
- Bartending training and certification
- Responsible Alcohol Service Certified
- 6 months bartending including craft cocktails experience
- Must be 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages
Job Duties
- Make and serve drinks to guests and cocktail servers following established guidelines, procedures and policies regarding beverage and safety controls as prescribed by company standards
- Perform all guest contact activities in a cordial, efficient and professional manner
- Maintain a commitment to guest satisfaction
- Ring guest checks, collect cash and process credits and room charges in the exact manner outlined by company policies and procedures
- Complete liquor requisitions and supply lists
- Know and comply with state liquor laws
- Ensure established pars are maintained
- Perform all sidework duties according to sidework schedules
