Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to 5 hours in length
  • Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 35 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • High school education is required
  • Hospitality or other degrees are a plus
  • Minimum 1-year experience in the restaurant/customer service industry preferred
  • Knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine, including recipes, history, base ingredients, and jiggers
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Present drink menu, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages
  • take orders
  • promptly serve food and drink
  • check in with guests regarding their experience
  • up-sell whenever possible
  • Record drink or food orders accurately and immediately after receipt into POS
  • Accept and process guest payment and make the correct change as applicable
  • Fill in as a server as directed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant
  • Maintain inventory and bar supplies
  • assist in restocking and replenishing
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the bar area (counters, tables, equipment, floors, etc.) always
  • Maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages
  • Wash and sterilize glassware as needed
