- Meet minimum age to serve alcohol

- eye for detail and understanding of drink mixing tools and techniques
- ability to lift 40 lbs
- ability to work long hours, evenings, holidays, and weekends
- ability to remain on feet the majority of the workday
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry preferred
- have 2+ years of bartending/serving or related experience in a full service restaurant
- have a current food handler's card and alcohol service certification as required by federal/state/local law
- meet minimum age for preparing and serving alcoholic beverages
- have basic knowledge of food and beverage service/hospitality
- have excellent customer service skills
- high school diploma or GED
- additional education, training, certificates, or experience may be required
Job Duties
- Welcoming members and guest, reading and listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking drink orders
- planning drink menus and informing members and guest about new beverages and specials
- selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to members and guest
- checking identification to ensure members and guest are legal age to purchase alcohol
- taking inventory and ordering supplies to ensure bar and tables are well-stocked
- adhering to all food safety and quality regulations
- maintaining a clean work area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment
- developing new cocktail recipes
